META is an innovative and steadily growing company that is focused on projects in gaming and esports. We have reached a point where we are on the lookout for additional recruits.

That is why we are looking for a tournament operations manager. As the Tournament Operations Manager you are at the heart of the small and large esports competitions we run at META. Whether it is the Belgian or Dutch League in League of Legends, the CS:GO Elite Series, the Rainbow Six Benelux Championship or a series of tournaments on the eSporza platform, your mission is to make the competitive aspect run as smoothly as possible.

You will coordinate with project managers, communities, partners and our team of admins to produce and execute the best possible competitions in the Benelux, constantly striving to bring a better experience to players and teams competing in the scene. Your communicative skills help diffuse any conflict and you excel at organising events in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

What we expect from you:

  • Extensive knowledge of (esports) games and the esports scene is crucial
  • Experience as an esports admin is a must
  • Knowledge of tournament structures
  • Natural leader who can lead a team and can delegate
  • Strong communicative skills (and adapt your style on the fly)
  • Strong organizational talent with a keen eye for detail and planning
  • Not a 9 to 5 mentality

Your responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for all competitions across various esports projects within META. It is your job to make sure that every tournament is a success from start to end.
  • You create and manage guidelines and rulebooks for the competitions to follow.
  • You lead a team of volunteers and admins and are constantly on the lookout for additional forces to strengthen the team.
  • You report results to project managers within META and help them achieve a set goal of KPI’s for our partners.
  • You actively contribute to the promotion of the competitions we host and are continuously looking for new ways to market our events.
  • You keep track of (inter)national competitions so you know what is happening in the esports scene and can immediately introduce new formats and competitions within our platforms.

  • Multilingual (Dutch, French and/or English)
  • Knowledge of Benelux esports teams
